Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for College Students:

6-Week Online Therapy Group

Grounded in the evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) model and designed specifically for college students, this 6-week group helps students cultivate presence, improve emotion regulation, and manage academic and personal stress through supportive, and structured mindfulness practices.
 
Who May Benefit:
This group may be a good fit for students who:
  • Feel overwhelmed by academic or personal stress
  • Experience difficulty focusing or staying present
  • Want tools to manage anxiety or emotional reactivity
  • Are curious about mindfulness and building healthier habits
  • Seek a supportive, nonjudgmental environment to explore well-being
What to Expect:
  • Weekly 60-minute online sessions led by a trained facilitator

  • Guided mindfulness practices (breath awareness, body scan, gentle movement)

  • Discussions and reflection in a supportive group setting

  • Practical tools for navigating stress, relationships, and academic pressures

  • Optional short home practices between sessions

Logistics

  • Group will start the week of 2/02/2026 and run through the week of 3/16/2026, with no group held the week of 3/09/2026

  • Once enrolled you will receive a secure link to set up a patient portal where you can complete intake forms.
